The month of February is widely recognized as the month for appreciating black culture. Although this is an important holiday, we feel as though having only one month dedicated to recognizing the accomplishments of black culture is giving the wrong message. Black culture isn’t something that should be confined into one month but instead, deserves to be acknowledged everyday. Which is why we are dedicated to providing a space that gives black creatives and all people of color the recognition they deserve. Not just in the month of February, but all year long.
