Noche de Cumbia – A night of Cumbia dancing with La Diabla, Los Sleepwalkers & DJ Josexxx
La Diabla is an infectious rhythm, five faces strategically concealed behind sunglasses and bandanas, and is credited with creating an appetite for Colombian Roots Cumbia in Tijuana and its sister city of San Diego. This band stays true to traditional instruments such as the accordion, guacaracha, and caja valleneta. La Diabla translates to “The She-Devil,” and will seduce audiences with Cumbia Sabanera throughout Los Angeles and Southern California and beyond. La Diabla’s last show at Quartyard in Feb 2022 sold out.
Los Sleepwalkers celebrate Chicano roots with their mixture of Latin, cumbia & rockabilly styles. They were also winners at the 2022 San Diego Music Awards!
Opening the show and laying down some Cumbia tracks is San Diego’s favorite DJ Josexxx.
